AGENT virtually kicks off project activities to mark successful project start
From 18-19 May 2020 the AGENT project was officially launched at its virtual kick-off meeting. The kick-off meeting was introduced by the scientific coordinator Prof. Nils Stein followed by short presentations of the individual partner institutions. Afterwards the AGENT work package leaders presented their objectives and planned milestones and provided detailed information about the scientific work as well as project management, contractual and administrative issues within AGENT. This was complemented by targeted discussions of the next steps towards future planning. On the second meeting day, special attention was paid to the 5 invited external advisory board members, who briefly introduced themselves to the consortium outlining their own research focus, strengths and potential contributions to the AGENT project. In a closed plenary session in the afternoon, the consortium defined the action points for the next few months and Nils Stein took the chance to thank everyone for a successful project kick-off. Although the meeting took place virtually, it was a perfect opportunity for the consortium members to come together for the first time and to lay the foundation for a successful cooperation in the years ahead.
