AGENT partners at the 6th Symposium on Cereal Physiology and Breeding

Magdalena Ruiz, Cristina Nieto and Mercedes Pallero from the AGENT partner INIA were participating in the 6th Symposium on Cereal Physiology and Breeding in Salamanca (Spain) on October 16-17, 2024. They presented the AGENT Project and work in the following poster presentation and flash talk:

  • Evaluation of thermotolerance genetic variation in the Spanish bread wheat landrace core collection (A. Carrasco-Coquillat, M. Pallero-Baena, M. Ruiz, C.Nieto);
  • Genomic analysis of a collection of Spanish bread wheat landraces (M.Pallero-Baena, D. Martin-Lammerding, C. Nieto, M. Ruiz).

This Sixth Symposium on Physiology and Cereal Breeding was focusing on knowledge and resources (genetic and technological) for the improvement of yield and quality (end-use and nutritional) of cereals in the current context of climate change and population growth
