AGENT opens its data portal for general access
The AGENT data portal has just been opened for general access, providing access to genotypic and phenotypic data for thousands of wheat and barley accessions from across Europe’s genebanks. New and historic data can be accessed, and breeding values have also been predicted for each accession. Critically, a core precision collection has been studied in multiple locations, allowing the separation of genetic and environmental factors. The website allows users to search, browse, and filter the data, and download the information for record or further analysis. Data will continue to be added as the project’s experimental work is completed over the next year. An Applications Programming Interface, conformant with the Breeding API specification, will be released later in the year.
You can visit the data portal here.
