AGENT phenotyping data management

A webinar and a 2-day datathon have been organised to help the management of the phenotyping data.

The webinar was open to other projects and the whole community. It introduced the Minimal Information About Plant Phenotyping Experiment (MIAPPE). It gave an overview of the current practices and methods for plant phenotyping data standardisation, and how to deal with the variability and heterogeneity inherent to research and breeding datasets. The presentation is available on Zenodo (https://zenodo.org/record/4659859) and the recording is available on YouTube (https://youtu.be/Fq2j16jzdBA).

The datathon was restricted to AGENT partners. The first day was dedicated to the presentation of the guidelines, templates and the FAIRDOM tool to manage the AGENT phenotyping historical data. The second day focused on the feedback and support of the submissions to FAIRDOM for each AGENT Genebank.
